Grumpy Old Men, Alf Garnett and Victor Meldrew are all comic characters. But there is an element in their moans that should be taken more seriously. It’s incredible how much is wrong with the world. Perhaps the problem is that there are too many people in high places with a little learning – it’s still a dangerous thing!
They’ve got it all wrong looks at life from some unusual angles and at some of the ways the world is sadly mistaken. For example, we are so intent on protecting the rights of minorities that some of the major groups get neglected and downtrodden.
You will find a contrasting mixture of serious, light-hearted, provocative and perhaps amusing topics. This is no text book and you certainly won’t agree with everything. You may not agree with anything. That’s fine. If some of it makes you think or smile, I shall be content.
